When I arrived here I was looking for a better future. I want to enable myself to make my dreams come true, but being undocumented makes it difficult. There are many people in this same situation, but I choose never to lose hope.
I keep fighting to make all my dreams come true. I dream of living in peace and being able to set up my own legal business: a juice bar!

Born in Khartoum, Sudan. Has also lived in Syria, Sweden, Germany, and for many years now, in Amsterdam.
Tawfiq has been homeless, but he has also been one of the leaders in undocumented micro-communities, staying in squatted buildings under the We Are Here movement. He currently has his own room in a house facilitated by a squatting community.
